Latihan Soal Listening UNBK Bahasa Inggris SMA Tahun 2018/ 2019
Mapel bahasa Inggris merupakan salah satu mapel yang diujikan dalam ujian nasional. Salah satu bagian dalam soal bahasa Inggris Ujian Nasional adalah soal listening. Soal listening membutuhkan keterampilan khusus untuk menyelesaikannya secara benar. keterampilan yang bisa diasah yaitu dengan latihan mendengarkan.
Kita bisa mulai latihan dengan mendengarkan lagu, dialog, berita, podcasts dalam bahasa Inggris. Plus mengenali tipikal soal listening bahasa Inggris SMA.
Soal listening bahasa Inggris SMA berjumlah lima belas butir soal dengan terdiri dari empat bagian utama. Setiap bagian utama memiliki karakter yang tersendiri. Untuk lebih jelasnya berikut pembahasannya.
- Pada bagian pertama, kita akan mendengar percakapan disertai dengan pertanyaan seputar dialog tersebut. Ada lima pilihan jawaban yang akan tersedia dalam soal, dan diharuskan memilih salah satu jawaban yang paling benar. Soal bagian pertama ini terdapat pada nomor satu sampai empat.
- Pada bagian kedua, Kita akan mendengar dialog yang belum lengkap, khususnya pada bagian respon dialog tersebut. Kita mesti memilih satu respon dari empat respon pilihan jawaban yang tepat untuk melengkapi dialog tersebut. bagian kedua ini terdapat pada nomor lima sampai tujuh.
- Pada bagian ketiga, Kita akan mendengar monolog dalam bahasa Inggris. Kita harus mencari tahu informasi apa yang terdapat dalam monolog. Pada soal, akan tampak lima jawaban yang berbentuk gambar dan kita diharuskan memilih gambar yang sesuai dengan apa yang dimaksudkan dalam monolog. Soal untuk bagian ketiga ini terdapat pada soal nomor delapan sampai sebelas.
- Pada bagian keempat, Kita akan mendengar monolog, kemudian kita diminta untuk menjawab pertanyaan seputar informasi yang terdapat dalam monolog tersebut. Lima pilihan jawaban informasi akan tersedia dalam soal dan kita akan memilih salah satu jawaban yang benar berdasar monolog tersebut.

In this section of the test, you will have the chance to show how well you understand spoken English. There are four parts to this section with special direction for each part.
Part I: Questions 1 to 4
Directions: In this part of the test, you will hear some dialogues and questions spoken in English. The dialogues and the questions will be spoken twice. They will not be printed in your test book, so you must listen carefully to understand what the speakers are saying.
After you listen to the dialogue and the question about it, read the five possible answers, and decide which one would be the best answer to the question you have heard. Now listen to a sample question.

They will not be printed in your test book, so you must listen carefully to understand what the speakers are saying. You have to choose the best response to each question. Now listen to a sample question.

Man : I am thinking of going mountain climbing.
Woman : That's interesting. Can I go with you?
Man : Sure. Do you have any suggestions for activities there?

After you listen to the dialogue or monologue, look at the five pictures provided in your test book, and decide which would be the most suitable one for the dialogue or monologue you have heard.

This monument is also known as Heroic Monument which is located in Surabaya, Indonesia. It is the main symbol of the city, dedicated to the people who died during the Battle of Surabaya on November 10, 1945. The 10 November Museum is located under the monument. Monument of Heroes, is a landmark monument in the city of Surabaya. This monument is 41.15 meters tall phallus-shaped or inverted spikes. Body-shaped monument arches (Canalures) by 10 arches, and is divided into 11 sections. High, segments, and implies Canalures on 10 November 1945.

Questions 13 and 14 based on the following monologue
Once upon a time, a mouse who always slept on the land had found an unlucky chance for the intimate acquaintance with a frog who lived for the mouse herd in the water. One day, the frog was intent on making mischief. He tight the foot of the mouse tightly to his arm. Once joined together, the frog led the mouse to the meadow where he usually searched for food.
Then he led the mouse for the pond in which he lived and when reaching the bank of the water, he suddenly jumped in, dragging the mouse in with him.
The frog really enjoyed the water and swam croaking about, ignoring the dead mouse body floating about on the surface. A hawk observed the floating mouse from the sky and flied down and grabbed with his talon carrying back to his nest. The frog still being fasten to the leg of the mouse was also carried over as prisoner and was eaten by the hawk.

Questions 14 and 15 based on the following monologue
The Panama Canal is an artificial 48-mile (77 km) waterway in Panama that connects the Atlantic Ocean with the Pacific Ocean. The canal cuts across the Isthmus of Panama and is a key conduit for international maritime trade. There are locks at each end to lift ships up to Gatun Lake, an artificial lake created to reduce the amount of excavation work required for the canal, 26 meters (85 ft) above sea level, and then lower the ships at the other end. The original locks are 33.5 meters (110 ft) wide. A third, wider lane of locks was constructed between September 2007 and May 2016. The expanded canal began commercial operation on June 26, 2016. The new locks allow transit of larger, Post-Panamax ships, capable of handling more cargo.
